While Sugardough Limited endeavours to keep the information up to date and correct we do not make any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness or accuracy of information, photographs, graphics, products, services or suitability or availability of the products and services. Any reliance is strictly at your own risk.
Sugardough Limited takes no responsibility for and will not be liable in any respect of this website being unavailable or having technical issues.

Sugardough Limited, its employees, directors or subcontractors will not be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of this website.

Ordering online

All orders on this website are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

When you place an order we collect certain personal information in order for us to fulfil your request. We never sell or give your personal information to third parties. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.


Your food will be freshly made to order. If you need to cancel your order we are happy for you to do so with no charge if you cancel before 12 noon three days before your delivery or collection date. We are not able to refund orders cancelled after this time. Thank you for understanding.

If you wish to cancel an order within the above stated time period please call the Bakery on 01273 771218. If the refund is agreed we will process any refund within 5 business days. The consumer right to change your mind within 14 days when making online purchases does not apply to perishable items, this includes any food products.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us or limit the quantities purchased even if the order has been confirmed on this website. Sugardough Limited will endeavour to contact you about the cancellation or quantity limitation on the next business day and will refund the cost of the products cancelled by us within 5 business days.

Availability and changes

We reserve the right to not accept an order if the product is out of stock, payment has not been authorised, error in pricing or product description, unexpected limitations on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for.
We make our food by hand in our Bakery in Hove. We do our best to fulfil all orders placed and confirmed online but sometimes we may need to offer a substitution.

All products are subject to availability.

All sizes and measurements are approximate.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to make minor changes to products including to the ingredients, finish and decoration.

Pictures are for illustrative purposes only. While we endeavour to ensure that products look substantially the same as their pictures, products and decorations may vary. We use seasonal produce where possible and decoration and product ingredients may change in line with seasonal availability. In addition, fresh natural ingredients vary in size, colour and availability. We cannot guarantee that products will be identical to pictures nor that colours will be the same. If there is something that you particularly want in your decoration please contact the Bakery on 01273 771218 to discuss your requirements.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies and omissions, including but not limited to price, product description, promotions, offers, availability and delivery without prior notice even where your order has been confirmed on this website.


Delivery times are approximate.
You agree that someone will be available to accept the delivery at the supplied delivery address during the delivery time slot. If for any reason the delivery cannot be accepted or there is no one at the delivery address to accept the delivery we will try and contact you on the supplied contact number. If we are unable to deliver the order we will take the order back to Sugardough’s Hove Bakery and keep it for 24 hours during which time you can contact us to request re-delivery the following day or to arrange collection. Re-delivery may incur an additional delivery charge.
If despite Sugardough’s reasonable efforts we are unable to contact you to re-arrange delivery or collection within 24 hours we will cancel the order and will not accept any claim for replacement product/s or refund/s.
If something is likely to delay your order we will endeavour to call and warn you. We are however at the mercy of Brighton’s traffic which can be unpredictable. If you have not heard from us or you receive incorrect or missing items please call the Bakery on 01273 771218.

Looking after our products

Sugardough’s food is meant to be enjoyed fresh on the day of collection or delivery. Most of our products need to be kept refrigerated. If you plan to store our products we recommend placing them in air-tight containers and refrigerating them. However, please don’t refrigerate bread, cupcakes or biscuits and cookies just keep them in air-tight containers. Any product with chocolate or caramel should be stored and displayed away from heat or moisture as this will ‘melt’ the finish. Please note any decorations with fresh fruit or flowers may wilt overnight.
If you store our products they should be consumed within 3 days. If you are not sure how best to store your order please contact the Bakery.

Food that needs to be reheated should only be reheated once and should be reheated to a temperature above 75C.


All of our products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten (wheat), dairy, egg, fish, mustard, celery, sesame seeds, sulphur dioxide (dried fruit and wine), soya milk, crustaceans and molluscs.

Details of specific allergen information can be found in the description of each product. We take allergens extremely seriously however we cannot rule out that trace elements of all allergens are not present. We don’t use lupin or peanuts in our kitchen. While some products are made with non-gluten ingredients our kitchen uses A LOT of different flours with gluten. If you have any queries please call the Bakery on 01273 771218.
